The “Jazz at the Museum” concert series returns on April 3 with a performance by the Idylle Piano Trio, offering an evening that blends classical tradition with jazz and tango influences.

The concert is part of this year’s themed series, “Her Voice,” which expands beyond jazz to include classical music, lyrical song, and other forms of artistic expression. The program aims to highlight the enduring power and evolution of music through diverse styles and interpretations.

The Idylle Piano Trio—featuring violinist Vasiliki Mazaraki, cellist Foteini Nikolopoulou, and pianist Ioanna Abraham—will present a chamber music performance centered on works by three iconic composers: Dmitri Shostakovich, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Astor Piazzolla. The repertoire combines strong emotional expression with dramatic intensity, creating a dynamic mix of classical structure, jazz elements, and tango rhythms.

Each member of the trio brings extensive experience to the stage. Mazaraki has collaborated with major orchestras and contemporary music ensembles, while Nikolopoulou has been a long-standing member of a prominent municipal symphony orchestra and has performed widely in chamber settings. Abraham has appeared in numerous solo and ensemble concerts across Greece and France, and has participated in recordings and competitions.
