Μake us preferred on Google Two female traffic police officers were assaulted by a 48-year-old man in Kaisariani, eastern Athens, during a traffic violation check.
The incident occurred when the two officers, accompanied by a male colleague, spotted the suspect’s car traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.
When they stopped him to issue a traffic ticket, the 48-year-old reportedly became aggressive, saying that they would not be the ones to ticket him. He then assaulted both officers, punching one in the stomach and striking the other in the head.
Additional officers were called to the scene, and the suspect was arrested and taken to the police station.
