A fire broke out at midday on June 4, 2026, in low vegetation in the Filothei area of Attica, triggering a major response from the Fire Service.

According to official information, a total of 47 firefighters are battling the blaze, supported by two foot patrol teams from the 1st Mobile Fire Operations Unit (EMODE), and ten ground vehicles.

Two helicopters are assisting from the air, while volunteers are also taking part in firefighting efforts alongside the ground forces.
