Olympiacos FC came from behind to beat Jagiellonia Białystok 2-1 in their opening match of the 2026-27 UEFA Europa League phase at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus on Wednesday, with Roman Yaremchuk scoring the winner in the 83rd minute.

The Reds worked the ball down the right, with Leon Bailey, Jota Silva and Remo Freuler combining superbly. The Swiss midfielder received the ball and delivered an excellent cross into the heart of the area.

Yaremchuk made the perfect run and powered a well-placed header past Sławomir Abramowicz and into the net in the 83rd minute, completing Olympiacos’ comeback.

Olympiacos’ next Europa League opponent is Olympique de Marseille, in France, on Oct. 15.
