The sixth season of Emily in Paris is set to expand beyond the French capital, with reports suggesting that filming will take place in Greece and Monaco, bringing some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations into the spotlight.

According to international entertainment media, popular Greek islands such as Mykonos and Santorini are among the leading locations being considered for production. While official confirmation of specific filming sites has not yet been made, the production team is believed to have already conducted location scouting in Greece and initiated discussions with local crews.

A Mediterranean shift in the storyline

The new season is expected to follow a narrative shift introduced in the season five finale, where Gabriel—Emily’s long-time love interest—appears to be working as a chef on a yacht in the Greek islands. He sends Emily an invitation to meet him there, setting the stage for a new chapter in their relationship against a sun-soaked Mediterranean backdrop.

Cast and production details

Series lead Lily Collins has previously hinted at the possibility of filming in Greece, even expressing interest in the country as a potential location for a character-focused storyline involving her on-screen friends.

Key cast members are expected to return, including Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Lucien Laviscount. Filming for the new season is reportedly scheduled to begin in early May.

Series creator Darren Star has remained cautious about revealing plot details, noting that while creative directions are in place, elements of the story remain flexible. However, he has consistently emphasized that Emily’s relationship with Gabriel continues to serve as the emotional core of the series.
