Rainy weather will persist on Tuesday, with the cold remaining intense and temperatures below seasonal norms for yet another day.

According to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), a few clouds are expected in eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the Dodecanese. In the rest of the country, there will be temporarily increased cloud cover with light local showers, which will intensify in the afternoon over the Ionian, Epirus, Thessaly, and Central Greece. Light snowfall is expected in mountainous areas, including the highlands of Euboea and Crete.

Winds will blow from the east at 3 to 5 Beaufort in the west, while in the east, they will be north-northeasterly at 4 to 6 Beaufort, reaching up to 7 Beaufort in the southeastern Aegean.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal averages, dropping 3 to 4 degrees Celsius lower than usual in central and southern mainland areas. In the Ionian islands, western and southern mainland regions, Crete, the Dodecanese, and the southern Cyclades, temperatures will reach 13-14°C, while in the rest of the country, they will not exceed 8-10°C. Frost is expected in inland areas during the morning and evening, with strong frost conditions in the north.

In Macedonia and Thrace, eastern areas will have a few clouds, while in western and central Macedonia, cloud cover will gradually increase, bringing local showers and brief snowfall in mountainous areas by midday. Winds will be variable at 3-4 Beaufort, while in eastern Macedonia and Thrace, they will be northeasterly at 4-5 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from -4°C to 9°C, while in western Macedonia, they will be 2-3 degrees lower.

In the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Central Greece, and Western Peloponnese, increased cloud cover will bring local showers to southwestern Peloponnese. Gradually, precipitation will spread to other areas, with snowfall expected in the mountains of Epirus, western Central Greece, and, by nightfall, in Peloponnesian highlands. Winds will be variable at 3-4 Beaufort, locally easterly at up to 5 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 3°C to 13-14°C, while in inland Epirus, they will be between -1°C and 10°C.

In Eastern Central Greece, Euboea, and Eastern Peloponnese, temporarily increased cloud cover will bring light local showers and occasional snowfall in mountainous areas. Winds will be north-northeasterly at 4-5 Beaufort, reaching 6 Beaufort in eastern and southern regions before gradually weakening. Temperatures will range from -1°C to 11°C.

In the Cyclades and Crete, cloud cover will bring light local showers, mainly in Crete, where light snowfall is also expected in mountainous areas. Winds will be northerly at 5-6 Beaufort, reaching 6-7 Beaufort in the southeastern Aegean. Temperatures will range from 8°C to 12-13°C, reaching up to 15°C in southern Crete.

In the Eastern Aegean Islands and the Dodecanese, scattered clouds will be locally increased in the north. Winds will be northerly at 5-6 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 7°C to 14°C, with northern areas seeing maximum temperatures 3-4 degrees lower.

In Thessaly, cloud cover will gradually increase, bringing light local showers and snowfall in the mountains. Winds will be variable at 3 Beaufort, while in the Sporades, they will be east-northeasterly at 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from -1°C to 9°C.

In Attica, scattered clouds will temporarily increase, with a chance of light local showers and some snowfall in Parnitha. Winds will be northerly at 3-5 Beaufort, temporarily reaching 6 Beaufort in eastern areas during the morning. Temperatures will range from 1°C to 10°C.

In Thessaloniki, cloud cover will occasionally increase. Winds will be variable at 3 Beaufort or southeasterly at up to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 0°C to 9°C.
