Athens spotlights Asian culture and cuisine as the Athens Asian Food Festival returns this weekend on May 2 and 3, 2026, at Kypseli City Market.
Held in collaboration with This is Athens City Festival, the event is part of a broader program that brings music, food, and cultural activities to neighborhoods across the Greek capital throughout May.
The two-day festival will gather selected restaurants, chefs, and food artisans. Experience a blend of delicious flavors, good music, and cultural exchange in one of the city’s most vibrant historic venues.
Attendees can explore a large Asian Food Market, alongside an Asian Bar Experience serving cocktails, teas, as well as the traditional Japanese sake and soju. DJ sets and music are curated in collaboration with the Street Outdoors crew, to complete the lively, open-air atmosphere.
The Athens Asian Food Festival team blends expertise in gastronomy, music, event curation, and hospitality to create projects that unite tradition with contemporary trends. The event’s focus is on sustainable, authentic experiences that celebrate cultural diversity.
