A gas cylinder explosion caused panic in the Eglykada area of Patras in western Greece on Tuesday afternoon, according to initial information reported by Tempo24.
The incident occurred at a home on Pelopos Street, near the intersection with Lochagou Menounou Street. For reasons that remain unknown, a liquefied petroleum gas cylinder exploded, causing a fire inside the house.
A woman who was cooking at the time noticed a gas leak. Shortly afterward, a small explosion occurred, engulfing the kitchen in flames.
The woman managed to leave the house in time and was not injured.
