Olympiakos FC was drawn to play against Fenerbahçe in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Conference League, while PAOK FC will face Club Brugge in the same competition.

The final of the UEFA Conference League will be played in Athens at the OPAP Arena on Wednesday, 29 May. The first leg is scheduled for April 11, with the return match on April 18.

Viktoria Plzeň or Fiorentina will meet either Club Brugge or PAOK in the semi-finals. Aston Villa or LOSC Lille will take on either Olympiacos or Fenerbahçe in the last four.

The draw was made by Greek football veteran of AEK Athens and Sevilla FC of Spain, Vasilios Tsiartas.

The two Greek teams reached the final 8 of the competition in impressive fashion. Olympiakos FC thrashed Maccabi Tel Aviv at the TSC Arena stadium, Backa Topola city, in Serbia 6-1 during overtime, staging an epic comeback from a 3-goal deficit in the first leg (1-4) in Piraeus.

On his part, PAOK FC dominated Dynamo Zagreb in Thessaloniki, winning 5-1 in regular time, overcoming a 2-goal deficit against the Croatian team in the first leg (0-2).

Greece is the only country in Europe’s third-tier club competition represented with two teams in the final 8 stage.
