Mitsotakis held meetings with officials from Israel’s Ministry of Defense (SIBAT) and senior representatives of the Israeli defense industry.

Mitsotakis announced an upcoming scholarship program in honor of Ionas Karussis (Karousis), a 26-year-old Greek student who was tragically killed in a shooting attack in Jaffa, Tel Aviv.

According to sources, the meetings will cover bilateral collaboration as well as regional developments, particularly in the Eastern Mediterranean and Syria.

On Sunday, March 30, Mitsotakis will travel to Israel for meetings with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
