Greece is entering a new phase of summer heat starting Monday, July 1, with temperatures climbing steadily across much of the country. A significant drop in wind intensity is contributing to the increased sense of heat. Forecasters warn of a second, more intense heatwave expected over the weekend, though early predictions suggest it will be short-lived.
