Filming Locations: From Paxos to Budapest

Filming has already started on the island of Paxos, which continues to serve as the central backdrop of the story. However, the new season promises to expand its horizons with scenes also set in Athens and abroad, including Budapest.

Papakaliatis’ Return

About nine months ago, Papakaliatis told ABC News he was considering taking a break before deciding on a new season. “I would love to write it, but I need time to think,” he said at the time. Clearly, the pause paid off. With fresh scripts in hand and production underway, anticipation is building for what comes next in the emotional and visually rich series that has already left its mark far beyond Greece.
