Greece will see a mix of sunshine and clouds on Sunday, with occasional light showers in some regions, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS). Heavier rainfall and scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop over the northern Ionian Sea and Epirus later in the day.

Across much of the country, conditions will remain mostly fair. Crete, the Cyclades, the eastern Aegean islands, and the Dodecanese may see temporary cloud cover with brief local showers. Visibility could be locally reduced in the early morning and evening hours, especially over the mainland.

Winds will generally blow from the west-southwest at 3 to 5 Beaufort, shifting gradually to southerly directions in the west and north with similar intensity. Temperatures are set to rise slightly, reaching 18–22°C in northern Greece and 22–25°C in the rest of the country.

By late evening, heavier rain and thunderstorms are expected in the northern Ionian and Epirus. Winds southwest at 3–4 Beaufort, strengthening later to 4–5 Beaufort. Temperatures 10–24°C, cooler inland in Epirus.

Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese: Mostly sunny, with increasing clouds from the west in the evening. Winds southwest 3–5 Beaufort. Temperatures 9–24°C.

Cyclades & Crete: Partly cloudy with brief local showers possible. Winds southwest 4–5 Beaufort. Temperatures 16–23°C, up to 25°C in Crete.

Eastern Aegean Islands & Dodecanese: Partly cloudy with a chance of short-lived showers. Winds southwest 3–5 Beaufort. Temperatures 16–25°C, slightly cooler in the north.

Attica: Mostly fair skies. Winds southwest 3–4 Beaufort. Temperatures 12–23°C.

Thessaloniki: Mostly clear, with increasing clouds by evening. Variable winds at 3 Beaufort, turning southerly up to 4 Beaufort in the afternoon. Temperatures 10–19°C.
