The attack

According to authorities, the incident took place inside a private home where the 42-year-old victim was working as a caregiver for two bedridden individuals. The suspect, who was known to the victim, reportedly entered the house without raising suspicion.

She is alleged to have followed the victim into the kitchen and launched a sudden knife attack, striking her four times in the arm, leg, chest and side. After the assault, the attacker is said to have locked the injured woman inside a room, leaving her unable to escape.
