A 13-year-old student remains hospitalized in intensive care following a serious fall at her school in the Athens suburb of Haidari, with doctors closely monitoring her condition.

The girl fell from the first floor of her school building under circumstances that have not been detailed. She sustained severe injuries and was rushed to hospital, where she underwent a lengthy surgical procedure.

According to medical sources, the teenager is now out of immediate danger. However, her condition is still described as stable but critical, and she remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

During surgery, the patient reportedly suffered repeated cardiac arrests, prompting extensive efforts by the medical team to keep her alive. Those efforts have continued in the ICU, where she remains intubated and under sedation.
