The U.S. Embassy in Athens, including its Consular Section, the U.S. Consulate General in the northern port city of Thessaloniki, and all U.S. government offices in Greece will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of a U.S. federal holiday, the embassy announced.

Regular operations and public services will resume on the next business day. Individuals requiring consular services are encouraged to plan accordingly and consult official embassy channels for emergency assistance information during the closure.
