Olympiacos B.C. delivered a commanding performance against reigning champions Fenerbahce, cruising to a 79-61 victory and booking their place in the 2026 Final Four championship game on May 24 at 9:00 pm.
Backed by nearly 14,000 passionate supporters who transformed the Telekom-Center into a sea of red and white reminiscent of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Georgios Bartzokas’ side produced a complete display on both ends of the floor.
Olympiacos had an answer for every challenge Fenerbahce posed. With balanced offensive production and a defensive masterclass, the Greek giants controlled the tempo from start to finish and never allowed the title holders to settle into the game.
Leading the charge was Alec Peters, who scored 17 points without missing a shot. Sasha Vezenkov added 16 points, while Tyler Dorsey contributed 15. Evan Fournier also played a crucial all-around role in the victory. For Fenerbahce, Tarik Biberovic and Talen Horton-Tucker were left carrying the load almost single-handedly.
The club from Piraeus has now reached the 10th European final in its history and will face either Valencia Basket or Real Madrid Baloncesto in the title game of Europe’s premier club competition.
There, Bartzokas and his players will chase the fourth European crown in the storied history of Olympiacos.
