On Saturday May 23rd, leading dancers from some of Europe’s most prestigious companies take the stage for a one-night-only Grand Gala at the historic Pallas Theater in Athens.
The performance will bring together internationally recognized and award-winning ballet artists in a program dedicated to some of the most celebrated works in the classical repertoire. Participating are principal dancers, étoiles and soloists from the Dutch National Ballet, Hungarian National Opera, Polish National Ballet and Bulgarian National Opera.
The gala’s program includes celebrated pas de deux and excerpts from landmark productions such as Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus, The Flames of Paris by Boris Asafiev, Giselle by Adolphe Adam and Spartacus by Aram Khachaturian.
The evening will also feature, for the first time, duets from Lady of the Camellias, Michel Fokine’s Le Spectre de la Rose and The Swan by Camille Saint-Saëns, accompanied by live instruments.

The gala aims to offer audiences a rare opportunity to experience world-class performers in a single production on an Athens stage.
